FAQ
How do I send you my photo to Cameo Cut?
Once you place your order we will confirm receipt of your order and we will ask for you to email us your photograph that you want us to make into your Cameo Cut.
How do I produce the photo you use for my Cameo Cut?
It's quite simple. We ask that you take a photo of the person you would like the Cameo Cut of, standing sideward looking straight ahead, the best way to capture this is against a blank backdrop like a wall, ideally one with a light colour.
What format do I need to send?
We can work with any standard phone or camera images, as long as the profile picture isn't blurry. The key to a good Cameo Cut is detail.
What advice do you give to capturing a good side profile photo?
Hair can sometimes be an issue when we are cutting your Cameo Shot so try and make sure there is some definition. For example, a ponytail works better than a bun and it makes it much clearer if there is a gap between the back of the head and the ponytail. If hair sits on the shoulders, try and ask the subject to drop their shoulders down.
Try and get the subject photo from the breast area to the top of the head which gives us room to produce the vintage cut on the bust.
If we have any issues with your photo we will contact you and work to get the perfect image.
